Start the game on a computer and allow the student(s) to play for a certain length of time. ✨ Small group or single player – Played on a single computer or iPad The winning team is the one which has opened all its doors first. Each team lines up in front of their advent calendar. Whole Class Cooperation – The class is divided into two teams. The iPads need to have the latest version of Safari installed in order for it to display correctly. It is also a perfect game to set up on a computer workstation for students to play independently or in small groups or on their iPads. This game is designed to be projected onto your SMARTBoard, Promethian, Mimio or Interactive Whiteboard. If correct, the advent calendar door will open to reveal a prize Students will know right away if they have chosen the correct answer.
This game can be played by students individually, in 2 player or 2 teams mode by involving the whole class. It is limited to the first 3 questions and then finishes. When playing against another team, whoever opens all the advent calendar first wins. When playing against yourself, you will try and beat your time. If correct, the advent calendar door will open to reveal a prize. Students are asked multiplication questions at the bottom of the screen and find the correct answer on the advent calendar. Students can play individually or you can involve the whole classroom with by going head to head with two teams.
